Some manufacturers’ DAWs, sound cards or DAT recorders have only S/PDIF outputs and some offer only AES/EBU inputs, or vice versa. The CDL-313 offers a simple solution for making transfers without leaving the digital realm. Serial Copy Management System is disabled when transferring from S/PDIF to AES/EBU.
